We used them to buy 2 homes this year and the experiences have been hands down amazing from both of the home purchases. Johns knowledge of working with rural properties is by far the best I have seen. Every home we went to he was looking out for us by telling us what year the windows were manufactured, explaining the differences in the multiple furnace options we saw. They are always looking out for you. He made the process of buying simple and took out any guess work. Any questions we had he was always there to answer them, and just keeping us in the loop in the whole process. John goes to bat for you and would always be like dont worry i will call them and arrange the septic inspections. John has a lot of amazing contacts which made scheduling inspections a breeze. When it came to negotiations he always would put himself in our shoes and give us his perspective on the way to go, which was helpful, as most of the other realtors we would work with they would just say TAKE THE OFFER!! Never did John and his team rush us to make a decision or walk us down a path we didn't all agree upon. It was a wild journey but they were able to find us our dream home. Buying a house can be chaotic... unless you’re working with John Gaida and his amazing team, Jennifer and Aubrey. My husband and I actually ended up buying two houses with John in 2025 (ask him for the story, it’s a good one), and we would do it all over again. John is an absolute wealth of knowledge, especially when it comes to rural properties. He kept it real and somehow balanced my very particular needs/wants with my husband’s. Even when our priorities didn’t match, he helped us sort through the pros and cons and ultimately found a place that worked perfectly for both of us. We saw a lot of houses and gave many of them ridiculous nicknames, which John fully embraced, keeping the whole process fun and surprisingly stress-free. He’s genuinely great to work with, and his team, Jennifer and Aubrey, brings that same energy. Between the late-night questions, lightning-fast responses, and the steady stream of memes we swapped, it honestly felt like house-hunting with friends who just happen to be real estate pros. On top of that, John is fantastic at negotiation and always made sure we were protected, informed, and comfortable every step of the way. Our experience with the Life's Good Real Estate Team has been fantastic – thank you so much to John, Jennifer and Aubrey for helping us find our dream home! As first-time buyers, we were brand new to this process and had a lot of questions and concerns. The whole team was consistently patient with us, quick to respond, friendly yet professional, and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. The house hunting itself was a bit of a marathon, since we were coming from out of town and looking for a very specific layout; we asked to visit a LOT of places, and despite having many other clients, the team always made us feel like we were a priority. Early in the process, John wisely took the initiative to arrange several showings that were different than our “wish list” just to give us a sense of the range of options out there (in terms of everything: price, location, more modern vs. older character homes, etc.). This was a great reference point that helped us narrow down what we truly wanted and primed us to be ready to make an offer when we found the right one – which we did, just a few weeks later. We never felt rushed or pressured; John consistently hung back and let us explore the house first before making any comments or assessments. When it came time to discuss, we greatly appreciated his direct and honest approach, pointing out the pros and cons of each property and never hiding or glossing over any problems/defects, so we knew exactly what we were dealing with. A couple of times when we made last-minute viewing requests and John was unavailable, Jennifer stepped up to arrange it all and show us the properties. It was great to get her insight and perspective as well during our “debrief” afterwards. If you need help selecting a good mortgage broker, house inspector and/or real estate lawyer, they can give you excellent referrals to all three. After our offer was finalized, Aubrey also shared an extremely helpful checklist of things to do before the closing date which has been a lifesaver during such a busy time, especially as first-time buyers. We learned so much and felt that we were in very safe hands throughout the whole process. We will absolutely recommend the Life’s Good Real Estate Team to any family, friends and neighbours in need of real estate services. Thanks again for everything!
